Husam Nazer
Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager
Mr. Nazer is the portfolio manager of and CIO at Sword Capital Partners, LLC. He was previously associated with Trust Company of the West for 17 years where he was a Group Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager of the Small-Cap Growth and SMID-Cap Growth strategies, co-portfolio manager of the TCW Global Technology Strategy and co-head of the TCW Small and Mid-Cap Growth Equities team. He was also previously an equity portfolio manager of the Small Cap and SMID Cap strategies and partner at DoubleLine Equity LP. He received a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and an MBA at the University of Southern California.
Rakan Nazer

and in house council
As head of operations Rakan is in charge of all aspects of the day to day runnings of Sword Capital partners. This includes managing several departments such as finance, operations infrastructure, risk management, technology and human resources.
As in house council Rakan provides expert and strategic legal advice on a variety of legal topics including contracts, litigation risks, business structure and regulatory compliance.
Rakan started as an associate at Trust Company of the West conducting research on small and mid cap companies for possible investment opportunities. Rakan decided to pursue a legal career and went to law school in Santa Barbara and then joined the law firm of Quinn Emanuel working on complex litigation issues relating but not limited to securities and exchange regulations and other forms of financial institution litigation. He later joined his brother Husam at Sword Capital Partners as head of operations.
